Ben Stevens is a wonderful dentist! I moved to Aliso Viejo a couple years ago and had to find a new dentist. I was very pessimistic, because finding to new doctors and dentists that you actually like is hard to do. Well, I was wrong with Dr. Stevens. He was great! Dr. Stevens went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable on my first visit, and every visit since, he has treated me with the same kindness and care. He always asks me questions about what I want and how I am feeling, and he always explains what he is doing during his procedures. I have recommended Dr. Stevens to all my family and friends in the area, and I will continue to recommend him. He is great!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Stevens. He has been my dentist for 8 years and I am extremely happy with the dental care he and his staff provide. He is experienced, gentle and just a nice, nice guy. And he’s even funny…for a dentist! Most recently I had 10 veneers replaced by Dr. Stevens and my smile looks fabulous. If you gotta go to the dentist, it doesn’t get better than this.

Dr Benjamin Stevens Goes above and beyond the normal Dentist. My son had a dental trauma at a young age and wasnt able to get Dental care for 18 years. Tried several different Dentists, His fear was so bad we couldn’t even get x-rays. His teeth were at a point that they were dangerous to his health. Plaq buildup and decay goes to the atteries and can cause seriuos even fatal health problems. Dr. Stevens and his staff where able to get in a fix my sons problems.For me it was a miracle. He is very patient and gentle. His staff is also very friendly and helpful. The office is extremely clean and welcoming. Anyone looking for a amazing Dentist,and have had problems with finding a Caring,gentle,patient Dentist, Go to him, you won’t regret it..You will be so thankful you did as Our Family is.

My husband and I started seeing Dr Stevens recently and both of us have had phenomenal experiences. Everyone at the office is friendly, kind and professional. Dr Stevens is an amazing dentist and very caring and concerned about his patients comfort. I had severe dental anxiety for years which I no longer have. Both Dr Stevens and hiss assistant were very attentive to my comfort level and very extremely gentle. I also greatly appreciated how Dr Stevens thoroughly educated me as to what was going on with my teeth, what procedure he would do and what that would entail.
Now that I have total confidence in Dr Stevens, I am looking forward to returning soon for some cosmetic dental work.
He and his staff truly care about their patients and visiting his office is a pleasure.

I absolutely love doctor Benjamin Stephens! I went to see him at Alicia Dental in LH, for a broken crown to be reposted and replaced (disclaimer: damage was done by an outside Dentist, not Dr Stevens), and a cavity filled. Two procedures simultaneously (which included laser shaving of my gums), and not once did I feel any bit of pain. Actually, I had to keep myself from laughing as he was performing the work: he’s got an amazing sense of humor, partnered with Professionalism. The ENTIRE time he made me feel comfortable and pain free. He made sure to explain the treatments, and also made sure to ask if I was feeling comfortable along the way.
I would highly recommend him to anyone who may have a fear of the Dentist.

I first met Dr. Stevens and his staff 5 years ago. I’m not one that goes to the dentist on a regular basis either. Both times I’ve seen Dr. Stevens and his staff they have treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. It is very easy to make an appointment. This review is a long time coming. Having moved away from Orange County and now in need of a dentist for a broken tooth, I began to look up reviews of the dentists in my new hometown and it looks like I have found a good one but it caused me to check how Dr Stevens fared. I first met Dr Stevens back in 2004 when he was at RSM Dental and immediately knew this was my dentist. Kind & considerate, meticulous & skilled in his work, he replaced my two caps with brand new veneers and whitened my smile for an upcoming family reunion. A few years later, I followed him to his practice in Aliso Viejo and then over to Alicia Dental where, just a few years ago, he crowned my two front teeth PLUS found a way to crown an incisor that was spinning sideways on me due to crowding. All the while matching the color of my own teeth! I’ve noticed a couple of people have given Ben less than stellar reviews due to front office issues or billing but my experience has been the complete opposite so it pains me to see people go that route rather than address it face-to-face. As I’ve shown, Dr Stevens is the kind of dentist you keep for life and wherever you reside, he’s worth the commute for his excellent care. If you live in South OC, or even North SD, give Ben a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

My crown fell off on a Monday afternoon. I called Dr Stevens office immediately hoping to get a next day appt but the receptionist told me I could come in right away and Dr Stevens would stay later for me. What service, very much appreciated since I was starting to feel the pain! I’ve been going to Dr Stevens for years and he is great. Gentle and very quick (and who doesn’t like gentle and quick when you’re having teeth drilled!) Never gives me a hard time when I go longer than I should for cleanings, which I sometimes do and I appreciate that. I highly recommend him.

I have a checkered past when it comes to my dental care and for that reason I want to highly recommend Dr. Benjamin Stevens and his office staff. I have lived in many diverse locations in this country and have accumulated a collection of past dentists – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I am not afraid of dentists, but the combination of avoidance, procrastination, bad prior results and frugality have caused me to take poor care of my teeth. Dr Stevens has (mostly) cured me of that. He is kind, gentle, caring, HIGHLY COMPETENT, cost efficient and does not lecture me if I “fall off the wagon”. He explains everything that he is planning to do, what you can expect and addresses any concerns or needs you have. My mouth is approaching its 7th decade and I need every bit of Dr. Steven’s skill, ingenuity and proactive care. I plan on his being my dental partner for the rest of my days.

Stop looking for a new dentist…you’ve found him! Dr Benjamin Stevens is kind, considerate, gentle (I’m a cry baby!) and I’m hoping he never retires! I’ve been going to His office for a couple years now, had cleanings, crowns, cavities filled, the staff, hygienists, everyone is wonderful, helpful and compassionate. I was referred to Dr. Stevens by someone who knows my dentist fears, ha ha. I’m extremely lucky to have a beautiful new front tooth crown, which was painless, even getting numbed I asked myself, why was I so afraid? I have never been happier to go to the dentist! My husband and I both recently started seeing Dr. Stevens and we both have had phenomenal experiences. My husband saw him first and raved about him (which was out of character for him). He told me I would love going there and kept asking me when I was going to make an apt. I thought it was sort of weird that he was so excited about a dentist but then one of my crowns cracked and I made an apt. Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly, kind and professional. I have (actually HAD) dental anxiety for many years but after 3 visits to Dr Stevens my dental anxiety is gone. He and his assistant Olivia were both so very gentle, patient and concerned about my comfort. They thoroughly explained to me the procedure and the state of my teeth in general and the experience was actually very pleasant and at no time did I feel any discomfort with my hyper-sensitive teeth. Now that I have total confidence in Dr Stevens I am looking forward to going to him to get some cosmetic dentistry done. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Stevens and his staff. They are highly skilled at what they do and sincerely care about their patients. It’s truly a pleasure to go to the dentist now.

Dr. Benjamin Stevens is absolutely Amazing! I was lucky enough to cross paths with him about two years ago, and the moment I found out that he participated in my new dental insurance plan I immediately scheduled an appointment. He’s performed a gum shaving for me, a filling and also a crown. I have *extremely* sensitive teeth, and I’m one of those who is hard to numb properly so I usually end up feeling most of the procedures with other Physicians. With Dr. Stevens, I’ve never felt any pain during or after procedures. He has a great bedside manner and a very calming energy about him. Usually when I see a dentist I instantly I’m taken over by anxiety: but not with Dr. Stevens, nor his Office Team. He explains the cause of issues and how to prevent them, and I really appreciate that. There’s no shaming/judgement/pressure to have procedures that I can’t handle at the moment. You can tell he has a passion for what he does, and it comes through in his care and how he treats his Patients and his Office Team. His new office is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend him to anyone.
